OpenSuse 10 wont start, i think its firewall
If i hit ESC to view the stats of the startup, it always locks up at Starting Firewall Initilization. I don't even want a firewall..can I disable this lol
|
Yes, of course. I think under Networking/Firewall.
You should use the Eval version. |
I use, and love OpenSuSE, the eval has nothing on it you can't get with OpenSUSE. Actually though, based on my laptop findings, I plan to basically only use SLICK from here on out, comes with KDE only, and I don't like gnome, and is massively faster and installs in less than a quarter the time it takes for full SuSE 10 eval and OpenSuSE.
The nice part about all 3 is you can disable the firewall on install or in the kcontrol configuration. |
I cant even get that far, I never get to the actual gui
|
Does that include in failsafe?
