opensuse 10 on acer laptop
 

i'm having a problem with my acer Extensa 6601WLMi

i want to change the rezelution to 1200x800 or more but i can't it seems that it dose not work . . . i'v set it to WXGA 1200x800 it look's smaller but not much . . . ??

i have a 15.4" WXGA crystalBrite TFT LCD

wouls someone please tell me what i should do ?

Go to console (CTRL+ALT+F1)
login as root
init 3
sax2 and try to change the resolution.
