Opensuse 10.3 firefox 3.6 upgrade
Hey everbody
I have Firefox 3.6 extracted on my desktop. I do not know how to install it. I looked at my current firefox and can't find a way to update it. What can I do? Thank You Sam |
Firefox 2.0.20 is the latest to work in Suse 10.3.
Suse 10.3 is (very) old. Please see post # 3 here .. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...rror-785650/#3 ..... |
Thank You for posting that.
The only reason I am having to upgrade firefox is that youtube will not support it on 3-16-10. I am waiting for 11.3 to be released in the meantime is there another webbrowser I could use? 10.3 has been the BEST operating system I have ever used. Thank You Sam |

Thank You
I will install opera and try that. Sam |
simple way:
download binary http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/product...nux&lang=en-US and copy binary in your home directory. Another way: download src.rpm for opensuse 11.x and try build rpm for 10.3 |
I installed Opera and works like a charm with youtube. For me to run FF 3.6
I will need a new version of OpenSuse. I am looking forward to what 11.3 has to offer. Untill then I am happy with my setup. Thank You Sam |
