I intend to re-install open suse 11.2, 32-bit. On a previous install,
suse did not provide a grub entry for ubuntu.
My current setup has
ubuntu/root on /dev/sda6
ubuntu/home on /dev/sda7
ubuntu/usr/local on /dev/sda8
mint/root on /dev/sda1
mint/home on /dev/sda2
mint/usr/local on /dev/sda9
with mint handling the boot loading.
I intend to replace the mint partitions with the same sequence of
suse partions (reformatted).
What would be the grub entry to execute chainloading of ubuntu?
would it be something like?
Code:
title Ubuntu
root (hd0,6)
chainloader (hd0,6)+1
I'm not clear about the usage of the +1, but it would be great if
someone could verify or correct the entry above.
Thanks
