only GNOME is installed (openSuSE 10.2) - how do I install and switch to KDE?

I can't seem to find ANY clear instruction how to do this -- the closest thing I see are instructions (which aren't all that clear anyway) to switch assuming you already have KDE installed.

Well... I don't.

I am a newbie - just installed/used linux for the first time yesterday.

Please help. I need step-by-step instructions because I don't know jargon just yet.

This will have to be a rough guide because I am using neither SUSE nor KDE...
1. Find and click on YaST icon
2. Under Software, select software management
3. search for kde-desktop, additional required kde packages will be selected automagically
4. accept all changes
5. logout or reboot
6. when prompted to login, there is an 'icon' called sessions (probably).. change it from gnome to kde
7. login and (hopefully) voila!

cheers

thanks nilleso - i got it working

it took a little bit. i had all the kde components installed, but i still could get it to load kde. but i finally figured out I had to go into YaST and edit the sysconfig. under desktop manager, i added my user to a selection called 'kde-default' or something like that, and that did it.

as a newbie, i feel darn good about that one.
