Nvidia update + kernel interface problem

Hi all
I can get my n6600 working properly.
I wanted to use the latest driver from Nvidia, but I get the following error, and I'm not sure how to solve it, can anyone give a hint? it seems I need the kernel source files, should I just get those (if yes, where, and anything specific I need to know?), or are they somewhere standard?
Thanks a lot

Edit:
I wanted to do this because I have no "Direct Rendering" - and a screensaver like "fireworkx" is really really low on fps, something like 1½.

No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; would you like the installer to attempt to download a kernel interface for your kernel from the NVIDIA ftp site (ftp://download.nvidia.com)? (Answer: Yes)
-> No matching precompiled kernel interface was found on the NVIDIA ftp site;
this means that the installer will need to compile a kernel interface for
your kernel.
-> Performing CC test with CC="cc".
ERROR: The kernel header file
'/lib/modules/2.6.13-15.8-smp/build/include/linux/kernel.h' does not
exist. The most likely reason for this is that the kernel source path
'/lib/modules/2.6.13-15.8-smp/build' is incorrect. Please make sure you
have installed the kernel source files for your kernel and that they are
properly configured; on Red Hat Linux systems, for example, be sure you
have the 'kernel-source' RPM installed. If you know the correct kernel
source files are installed, you may specify the kernel source path with
the '--kernel-source-path'

You need to download the kernel sources ot the kernel you are running.

From the error you post, I believe you are running the kernel 2.6.13-15.8-smp on SuSE 10.0. (type uname -r to verify this). If this is correct, you can use YaST -> Software -> Software Management to download the package kernel-source that matches your kernel. After that repeat the installation of the Nvidia driver.
