nvidia screen resolution limited to 1024 in suse11.1 and KDE4.1 with 3d enabled

Hi all.

My first post for suse 11.1. Its ace so far.

Right i have suse 11.1 with KDE 4.1 and the nvidia 3d driver running fine.

my sax2 settings are set to 1366x768 resolution 24mil colours 60hz.
but my nvidia settings only allow 1024x768.

having inspected my /etc/X11/xorg.conf my screen and monitor settings are all set with 1366x768 options available.

so why will nvidia not allow greater than 1024x768, 512x384 or Auto from the nvidia x-server settings panel?

The monitor is a wide tv, set as LCD->1366x768 in the sax2 settings

any help would be appreciated

my card is a geforce7600GS at GPU 0
driver 177.82
suse 11.1 x86_64

where as sax2 (graphic card and monitor settings) is set as:
monitor - LCD 1366x768(60hz) - resolution 1366x768 (WXGA) 16.7mil
graphics card - NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS
yes to activate 3d acceleration

sysinfo shows:

Can you post your X.org log file? You can do also some checking yourself: search for errors (EE) and warnings (WW) in the log.
