Nvidia GeForce driver issue

Hi -

I'm running Suse 10.1 - I have installed the latest Nvidia drivers for my GeForce 6600 using online update, but the 'Activate 3D Acceleration' option in Yast is greyed out. Any ideas on how I can fix this please?

you should be able to enable/ disable any options manually by editing the /etc/X11/xorg.conf (or whatever the file is on suse).

But check to make sure that it's not greyed out for a reason. nVidia have had a few 'issues' recently with drivers so make changes carefully.

Also consider rolling back to previous driver that did allow you to enable your preferred options.
