I have a dell optiplex gx 280 with an ati x300 gphx card. It does not have the capability to display dual monitors so I installed a nVidia tnt2 m64 gphx card I had laying around. However, I cannot seem to get it to work. The primary screen (pci-x) is on bus id 1 while the secondary screen (pci nvidia) is on bus id as shown in hardware information. I set up the second monitor the same on both. All I get on the second monitor is the nVidia VGA BIOS screen. Could this be an issue with the card or something else?

any ideas?

I went into the system BIOS and somehow the integrated video switched on, even though I am using the ati card. Funny last time i tried to turn on the integrated card the BIOS complained that it was an unsupported mode and that it can't continue...I guess its a dell.

Anyway, Now the BIOS screen and SuSE bootpup screen show up on hte nVidia card. the Lgoin screen switches over to the ATI. Now in SAX the BIOS info is gone, but I get an underscore character in the top left of the nVidia screen...
