No harddisk found

I have SuSE Linux Personal 8.2(bought it a while back) and decided to put it on this pc and dual boot with windows. In preparation I partitioned my 200 gig NTFS formatted harddive into 1 132GB NTFS drive(C) and 1 68GB Fat32 partion. So when I got to install SuSE it comes up with the error "No Harddisk Found"... It's not detecting my Harddrive, what is the issue?

If that's a sata drive, it won't be detected in suse 8.2. Sata didn't exist when suse 8.2 came out. It could also be an issue with your recent motherboard/chipset which probably didn't exist when 8.2 came out. You need to get a more current distro; suse 10.0 is freely downloadable now:

The KDE desktop has become a little more colorful, but the old style is still recognisable. It became a little too Windows'ish in my opinion, e.g. the 'My Computer' icon - useless
