Hi all,

I did a clean install of 10 this weekend, I have /home in a seperate partition so the install went flawlessly ... I fixed all the multimedia stuff, playing dvd's,mp3's etc etc but most of my mp3's are on a networked winxp box. Suse is on my laptop, anyway I used to use alsaplayer to listen to mp3's cause it would handle playing them from a networked drive with no problems, now I have no alsaplayer and can't find it in yast. I have all the repo's added packman guru and the super also but still can't get alsaplayer. Now I'm using real player as it also handles the network correctly by that I mean it copies the mp3 then plays it ... all the oter players, amarok-xmms etc all either segfault (amarok) or do nothing at all (xmms) ... any ideas on this ??
