Network fails after starting X on VAIO laptop
Running SUSE 10.0 on a Sony VAIO laptop with inbuilt ethernet card.
At bootup network starts fine, can ping externals sites as well such as ping www.bbc.co.uk or others. Always get an address back. Once I start X all network connectivity is lost, network unreachable etc etc. Coming out of X into CLI mode swon'y fix network until re-boot. Then starting X loses network again. Any ideas. Somehow starting X is hosing up the network connectivity (or so it seems). Cheers -K |
