I wanted the ms true type fonts on my system so I googled for a suse rpm, I usually would just copy the ttf fonts from my windows partition into the ~/.fonts directory but since I got rid of that I tried to install it with apt. Couldn't find it there so looked for the rpm and installed it, it told me about a dependency issue (/usr/sbin/chkfontpath) but I didn't want to go on another rpm hunt and just wanted to install the fonts so decided to ignore it.
So now because of that apt won't work and neither yast2 or apt can remove the msttcorefonts package, I get the following when I run #apt-get --fix-broken install
Code:
chuy@b0x:~> sudo apt-get --fix-broken install

I'm really just trying to find a way to forcibly remove this package, I don't care about the fonts anymore just want apt to work again, I was going to install chkfontpath rpm to fix the dependency and then remove it but to install that I needed another rpm and to install that I needed another one (class I know)...
so I'm going to procede to find a way to install chkfontpath to be able to fix the dependency, but I wanted some input on how I could force yast (or whatever) to remove the msttcorefonts package...thanks and sorry for rambling
