mplayer plugin not working


Hey all,

I tried to view some videos tonight from a site that I usually visit everyday but now when I try to play them, the mplayer plugin buffers the video, trys to play then continues buffering till it finished then just says stopped ... anyone have any ideas???

you please vcd or dvd? any problem with xine? only problem inside the firefox?

just when I try using the firefox plugin ... all my other video works fine

try to download latest firefox, sometimes I have problem with firefox too.

What version of mplayerplug-in are you using? I tried 3.30 and had to go back to 3.25 because 3.30 didn't work.

I have 3.30 installed but it doesn't work on my system either. I'm going to try going back to 3.25 when I get home tonight ... thanks

Same here. Version 3.30 does not work for me, either. I went back to 3.25 and it works perfectly.

thanks all ... I just downgraded to 3.21 and all is well again .... I should have thought to try this before posting !! Again thanks to all !!!!

mplayerplug-in 3.30 will probably work on your machine if you add the following to ~/.mplayer/config

nortc=1
nolirc=1

There is a bug in mplayerplug-in that is worked around by setting those two options. This will be fixed in the next release.
