The easiest way may be to go to the http://rpm.pbone.org website. In the advanced search, select "SuSE Other". This will give you results from the Packman repositories. The OpenSuSE versions of xine, mplayer, xmms and other programs won't have support for playing DVDs or mp3's. The pbone site will also have handy links to the dependencies if any that you need. You may want to uninstall the versions that you have installed already first. I'm not certain what the differences are between the libraries and program versions (regarding mp3 support, etc) between SLED and SuSE linux. The release notes may provide more information.

You can also go to the mplayerhu website and download the win32 codecs package which will help you play back WMVs and AVIs. http://www.mplayerhq.hu/

Wait a minute, is SLED RC3 SuSE or RedHat?

Thanks but the rpm.pbone link is dead. Redirects to a dead site. I can goto packman site and search on "mpeg2" and find 3 or 4 different packages (http://packman.links2linux.org/?action=381). Is this the lib/decoder i need to play mpeg2's? SLED Rc3 is SuSE and, from what i understand, is based on OpenSuSE 10.
