Mouse Settings Lost on shutdown

I run SuSe 9.3 and I lost my mouse settings completely recently, but it is back with only one glitch.

I must open YAST to restore the mouse settings each time I boot
or switch users.

I went to etc/sysconfig Editor in YAST, but the settings don't keep.

The problem is only annoying, not critical.

thanks,

What kind of settings are you talking about?

Mouse Settings....

it was my mouse entirely sending me back to YAST to re-install it
every time I boot the PC.

Issue resolved with another mouse.
