monitor problume


evertime when i start up this laptop in suse i get an message saying.....your monitor didn't report its x- and y- size this might cause display problems like unreadable fonts then give me a yes or no and i have done yes and configerd everthing and it dosen't help. its a Dell latitude D800 not sure if u need to know that or not.

Post the results of

cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf

i looked for that file and i can't find it even when i do a search for it its not there
