my usb cable modem is detected as a dial-up modem and when trying to connect it using ethernet i still cant connect to the internet what can i do?
im using suse 9.2
You can do two things. You can tell us what type of modem it is or better still, you can ask Google to show you pages that feature the word linux and the name of your modem
