low resolution


Im only capable of getting 800x600 resolution, is this the standard highest or can i get 1024x768

If your monitor supports it, you can also get 1024x768 or higher. You probably just need to configure your hardware properly in YaST/sax2. The best would be to boot into runlevel 3 (press F3 at the bootprompt and type '3', then continue to load the system, alternatively login as root and type 'init 3'). Now run sax2 as root and select the proper settings for your monitor and graphics card. Test, save and switch to runlevel 5 (init 5). Good luck.
