Lookin for Kernel upgrade howtos in Suse 10.2

I have Suse 10.2 installed on my machine and would like to upgrade my kernel from 2.6.18 to 2.6.22 and can not find any Howtos or procedures. Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction. I've found Kernel rpm's on the site, but no instructions on how to install them. Is it as easy as upgrading using Yast with the new rpm? Thanks for your help

I've tried using the rpm's on http://software.opensuse.org/downloa...E_10.2/x86_64/ and my machine couldn't get thru the boot sequence after my first reboot

I found this tutorial, but it's a bit more work then I'm willing to attempt http://www.howtoforge.com/kernel_compilation_suse

good luck a lmk if you find something a bit easier
