Question Logon/Logoff Applet ?

Hello, I'm still new to Linux so forgive my ignorance. Does anybody know what file or script the logon/logoff applet in the taskbar points to? Just curious as to what file(s) and its location(s).

Thx.

Have a look at /opt/kde3/share/doc/kdm/README. It seems as if the shutdown command is 'kdmctl shutdown'. However, it does not tell if a specific script exists.

You could also look at /opt/kde3/bin/startkde, which also seems to handle shutdowns.
