load ndiswrapper at boot

I'd like to get ndiswrapper loaded at boot. Reading the threads, I thought, great just insert modprobe ndiswrapper in modprobe.conf.local.

Did that, but on boot it says ignoring bad line in modprobe.conf.local line 5

Am I missing a bracket or an apostrophe or what?

When I as su enter modprobe ndiswrapper it starts fine, and wifi works.

Do you mean in modprobe.con.local, or from a console?
Tried it from a consule, got this:
daddy:/home/dad # ndiswrapper -m
adding "alias wlan0 ndiswrapper" to /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper ...

Don't know if that is good or bad.

Put the line modprobe ndiswrapper in the file /etc/init.d/boot.local
