Keyboard is dead

Hey all,

I'm new on linux and I already messed up my linux-box with suse 10.0.

I was trying to change my keyboard-layout and country after I was logged in via KDE. After reboot, no input was possible from my keyboard. KDE is started and the users are vissible, but I'm not able to enter the password. The mouse is still working.

I still can log-on via the console. Maybe I can solve it by this way? Can anybody help me with this??

delete the folder /home/username/.kde
That is my best advice, it will reset all of kde, unless someone can give you some better advice.
If you were logged in as root try deleting /root/.kde

I don't know which of the two - if any controls kdm though.
