Kernel update problem in 10.3. Missing dependencies.
When I try and update to the new kernel from yast updater it downloads and starts to install the update then tells me that it can't install it because it is missing over 20 dependencies. I have tried to manually install some of the missing dependencies but, that didn't seem to work either as the same dependencies came up on the next attempt to install the new kernel.
I am running Open SUSE 10.3 x86_64. Please help as this is getting very annoying. :) haha |
Try deleting /var/cache/zypp/zypp.db then run zypper refresh or just start YaST. Then try the update again.

Just tried your suggestion. No go. Didn't work. It still came up with the same 20 dependency issues.
Anyone got anymore ideas???? |
