Kernel Re-compile Issue on Suse10

Hey all - I am running OpenSuse 10.0 and wanted to play around and learn how to compile kernels. (As a friend told me - "You had everything working fine and had to go mess it up!")

Anyway - I recompiled the 2.6.3-15.7 kernel and somehow lost the module for my ATI Wonder VE Card. Now I can't watch the Simpsons while playing around!

Anyway - looking through the xconfig options - I am sure that I checked the all the video and hardware items that I wanted compiled.

Is there a specific item that should be checked for this card to work again? Or is it separate module that I can maybe compile on my own? Any help is appreciated.

each time when you re-compile kernel, you need to re-install video drivers (ATI and nVidia). You are creating a new entry in /lib/modules
driver is looking for module in the /lib/modules/current_kernel_name
Because module is not there (obviously), driver will fail. So you have to re-install video driver.
