Kernel compile = Cd roms don't automount.

Hi.

I compiled myself a new kernel (2.6.12). So far so good..except for one thing. SuSE no longer acts how it use to. I loved the automount feature...and how the CD-roms were read and mounted/unmounted automatically. Very convenient. What does SuSE use to do this? Did I need a kernel patch? If so..how can I get this behavior again? Thanks

you need to install submount. The lastest version is 0.9
here:

submount should be installed from the kernel you want to add submount. After installation reboot and that is all.
