KDevlop compile


How do I compile a project in KDevelop : C/C++ or in KDevelop : KDE/C++ , cause I don find any compiler in the menu . There is a build menu entry but under that is only ¨Stop¨ so how do I compile a project in KDevelop ?

I use KDevelop mostly for FORTRAN programming. I use version 3.2.0 and on my Build menu, there's a Compile File option. Opened the Hello World program in C++, same thing and it works. The Stop option is only available when the program is executing.

How did you install KDevelop and what version are you using? As part of a distro install, a yum (or equivalent) install, or did you build it from source? Maybe as simple as a reinstall.

Ok, it works now.
Assuming I want to write a program in c++ made of multiple files(project), and which also will have a GUI what enviroment should I use : KDevelop KDE/C++ or KDevelop Designer or QT designer or all three of them ? Somebody please help me !
