Originally posted by slacker9876 It is available at KDE.org, I tried the Konstruct and was pretty disappointed, I'll wait until the SUSE 9.3 hits the streets.
But don't you think 9.3 will run with KDE 3.4? Or do you expect something else?
I downloaded the Suse build RPMs from the /kde/stable/3.4/SuSE/ix86/9.2/ tree of my local mirror (mirror.pacific.net.au) re-set the installation source directory and installed with Yast
I had to rebuild arts from source and modify the startkde file (might not just be me but I also use OSS for sound and was having "static" sounding problems) - all sorted, sound works fine, install is clean and fast - definitely faster than 3.2 - seems cleaner all round too.
With all the updates I've done recently - 9.3 is going to need to be a big upgrade to make me update the whole system.
I think I'm finally ready to stop calling myself a linux n00b :P
mrdj1234 - I think you could be right about suse 9.3. I have bought all the releases from 8.1 but as I've already downloaded kde 3.4 - unless 9.3 has something really special I might wait until suse 10.
