k3b config

Using Suse 9.1. CD Burner is Yamaha CRW2216EZ. CD-R's TDK (80 min)

I tried last night to use k3b for archiving digital photos and ran into some problems (first time I have used k3b).

k3b seemed to work fine, with no complaints and the led's on the drive indicated that the drive was writing data. Inspecting the CD afterward, I could see that it had definitely been altered.

Heres the problem - I was unable to mount the CD newly created. I got an error message saying there was no media there.

I tried putting in a known good cdrom and it found it just fine.

Here's the question: what settings should I use in k3d? I want to be able to access the files on windows and linux machines.
