Question Is this a new version of SuSE 10.2beta2?

Yesterday I performed YAST update of my system SuSE 10.2 beta2. It says that there are 3.3 Gb of packages to be upgraded. It then took about 4 hours to complete (I have ADSL). When rebooting, I noticed that GRUB boot loader has a new option to boot into, besides SuSe 10.2, and that is Linux kernel 2.6.18 xxxx. When booting, there is mentioned(in text mode) Linux 10.2beta2 plus.
Now, when booting, I have this additional option. I do not know whether this is a complete new system on my disk, or I can just delete one and - maybe- free my disk. The question is : do I have two separate systems loaded or there is just one upgraded and I can delete the old one??

Basically you have updated your system.

But then again it seems you have 2 kernels installed.
The main packages have been updated so it really doesn't matter which one you choose.

beta2 had kernel 2.6.18.1-xyz
factory has kernel 2.6.18.2-xyz

You could remove the old installed kernel and remove it from grub list.

Hi onjoo,
I checked in YAST but there are no 2 kernels. anyhow, I removed the "old" one in GRUB BootLoader and then I could not boot anymore. So I reinstalled my system again. Now I have(after upgrading) two possibilities in bootloader (SuSE 102 and Linux kernellbla, bla again). Well, I reinstalled the SuSE because of some bugs (I posted threads here).
