Is There an App That Can Import iTunes Database?
The title says it all. Is there a Linux app that can import (or simply read a copy of) an iTunes folder structure and make the music visible and playable? I understand that the songs I have purchased would not be playable, but the majority of my iTunes database is just ripped CDs, and I would like to be able to access them under Linux (openSUSE 10.3). Thanks.

Thanks colucix. This seems a little more involved than I was looking for. I don't want to *share* an iTunes music collection - I want a one time import into some Linux app that will be able to parse the collection and present it to me much like iTunes does: by artist, by title, etc. I'll keep looking but I do appreciate you taking the time to post back. Thanks.

Actually, it looks like gtkpod can do this - plug in your iPod and it loads its local library directly from the iPod. That would do just as well. I have loaded it up and am going to give it a try! Thanks for all the suggestions.
