Installed mplayer from source but the gui (gmplayer) does not work


hello everyone, i ran into a problem when i installed mplayer on suse 11.1 from source, it works just fine BUT it has no GUI.When i try to use the command "gmplayer", it returns 'bash: gmplayer: command not found
'some help pliz !!!

How did you install it. To enable the gui (e.g to create the gmplayer) you need to run:

./configure --enable-gui
Before run ./configure again, you should run "make clean" or "make distclean" to remove the files created by the previous build.

Did you perform the full installation as explained on the MPlayer webstie? A barebones install wouldn't provide gmplayer. (To be sure you can try 'which mplayer' and take a look around that directory for the gmplayer executable.)
