installation suse 10 on new HD. it cannot mount the old HD

i've just installed suse 10 on my new HD.On my previous hard disk i had windowz-suse.
My system boots from the new HD. I attached my old HD as well. When i go to myComputer i can see it there but i cannot enter it. It says:
"Could not mount device. THe reported error was: mount can't find /dev/hdb5 in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab."
What should i do?
Any ideas?
THanx in advance..cheers

I believe your old hard disk wasn't automatically mounted for you and so you will have to mount it manually.

Just click root terminal and type

mkdir /mnt/hdb5
mount /dev/hdb5 mnt/hdb5

You then click the file manager in the desktop and you will find the device hdb5 has been mounted temporarily in directory /mnt/hdb5 and all the files can be accessed.

To mount it every time whenever you boot the system you need to create an entry in /etc/fstab as suggested by Suse
