Question Installation source not refreshed? Huh?

Ok, first of all I'm trying to get Suse 10 to install my nvidia driver. However, first I think I need to get beyond the "Installation source not refreshed" whenever I bring up the Software Management. What in the Sam H E double hockey sticks does that mean? Were it not for my 64 bit and dual core issues, I'd go back to 9.3.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

You need to enable refreshing of your software repos so that YAST has a fresh list of packages available from your repos. YAST -> Software -> Installation Sources -> select the source and click on enable refresh.

Do you have any sources that are on your local computer. I find that directories on my computer always suffer that fate.

Still, when I get into software management, it says that my sources aren't refreshed.

..............

Jongi, I am a big fan of Suse. I've tried Mandriva and a variety of others. It just seems like Suse has a bit more to offer. I'm just pissed because not even M$ has got all it's ducks in a row when it comes to the 64 bit + dual core SLI. Of course with Macro$haft: Personally, I think that even the vendors are getting a bit sick and tired of being jerked about like a bunch of sock puppets during an all night porn fest!

Does it update the source directory every time you load Software Management. I find that I often have to delete the source directory and re-add it for the new downloaded RPMs to show.

If it is a web based resource it may be because the server is down or taking too long to respond.

I guess this means that SUSE 10 is unable to handle a local folder as software sourec. I'm pretty sure SUSE 9.3 could though.
