open up YaST --> Software --> Software Management
when the Software Management window opens change the filter in the upper left hand corner to "Instalation Summery" and make sure that only the "keep" and "Protected" check boxes are checked. That should show you everything installed both from official SuSE sources and any additional RPM's you have install are shown, Anything you compiled from source will not show up. To keep track of programs I compile from source, I generally will place them in a separate folder from the rest of the programs.
