im having install issues for other programs


hi i have suse 9.3 i think its pro almost positive but any way it comes with kopete as a chat client and i want a chat client that can go into chat rooms on aim. i downloaded aim 1.5 for linux i ran the install through yast and now i cant find the file let alone run it. the download was a .rpm. well if i cant do aim i would like to use gaim but didnt see a download for suse 9.3 any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you for taking time to read this.

Have you tried typing

whereis aimX <---- Replace the X with the version specified in the RPM file name

or

locate aim

type that in command line or find files? cause a ran a check on aim and a bunch came up but just the cookies and the .rpm file.

i tryed in command line */usr/bin/aim*and nothing. atleast thats what it says on www.aim.com
