Unhappy ID3 tags in Audacity/Suse ??

hi,

After getting lame/aducity to work, I found a nother possible issue.

When exporting mp3, the ID3 tag does not seem to get registered with the mp3 file.
I have tried several times. When i read in the mp3 file back to Audacity, it nicely displayes the ID3 tag, BUT, when I run/listen to the .mp3 file in XMMS or other mp3 software playes, the tag is not displayed.

if I use the windows version of audacity and tag it, then it get's seen in XMMS.
Funny.....Is this a possible bug?

has anyone tried this?

thanks,
redrobin

You may need to install libid3tag and/or id3lib (both available from SuSE).
