HP1600 Printer won't Print in openSuse 10.2
 

Having problems with an HP1600 color laserjet printer and also new to openSuse 10.2, as well as Linux OS. I am using CUPS to manage my printers, while installing a HP 8150DN went fairly smoothly. The HP1600 will not print a test page. In a nutshell, compatable with opensuse 10.2 or is there something I'm missing in the set-up???

I wouldn't know about your particular printer - but sometimes (if your printer were recognized) you should try to print something out from another program (e.g. OpenOffice).

Yast sometimes fails, when it has to print out a testpage.
