Question How to Update from my HardDrive??

Ok i cant go online with SUSE cuz my stupid modem, so i downloaded ALL the updates to my PC in one Folder...so now i went to the the control center to change the FTP location to a directory (location where the patches are) but he wont let me ..he keeps saying error when i click next.... he seems to wanna go to the FTP address or whatever...

HOW I UPDATE FROM MY OWNZ PC??

help please

I tryed adding the location where the files are as new source or whatever..then going to add new software but the windos loads but it closes real quick and nothing happens..i also burned it to a cd and added the source to the CDdrive and tryed but same thing happen when i click patch from CD or add new software...the window closes and nothing happens....
