How to re-enable AppArmor module . . .?
 

Hello all, I have finally compiled a vanilla kernel for my suse 10.1 box. My only lingering problem left is I can not start the Apparmor Module when booting up.

I get

FATAL: Module AppArmor not found - failed

So - I know it is a module...

How would I be able to re-enable this module under my 2.6.18.3 kernel? I already have my ralink rt2500 module reloaded. It is just AppArmor that I can not figure out how to recompile the module.... and ket this kernel to load it.

It's not in the main kernel source, so there's two external kernel patches you need to apply: aa and aa_namespace_sem. Get them from a kernel .src.rpm which version best matches your vanilla one. Patch the kernel source, then enable "Subdomain support" in the Security tab.
