check out this download... i tried 3 times to dual boot my computer and the linux install kept curropting my windows installation. I finally found this and it worked like butter.

Now, what i did is started from scratch the forth time... using the XP cd i deleted all partitions and then split my drive in 1/2. i then formated a drive c on the first 1/2 of the drive and left the 2nd hald unformatted and un partitioned. i installed xp normally and then ran the above program which sets all the partition info and reboots into the suse install. everything after is pretty self-explainatory and idiot proof. was a piece of cake.. i highly recommend it if you are having problems.
from what i understand this will work on an old install of xp as well, but i would back up everythihng first before i tried it. i tried to find the website i learned of this from.. but i couldn't... sorry
