How to Increase Length of the Icon Text

Hey all! I just installed Suse Linux 10.1 and the text under the Icons are spaced strange.
Example:

My Net
work P
laces

It's like the length of the text has a default of 6-8
characters per line.

I've tried changing font size, type, display resolution, and googled my fingers off! I did find a couple of people had the same problem, but there was never an answering solution.

Any ideas?

Just right click on the icon and type the name again. It should straighten itself out

Renaming the Icons does not work either.

Right click desktop, 'configure desktop' Check the 'Background' Icon on the left. Click on advanced options on the right. Here you can set how many lines of text for icons, and for width, my width is set to 'Auto' and seems to work fine.

Hope it helps.

Success! Thanks so much! I was there before, it was set at 3, and I kept upping it a couple numbers to a time, but it didn't seem to do anything. I did NOT see the "auto" setting at that time, as I had to "count down" before I seen it.
Thanks again!
