How to get my Logitech 1000 mouse to work properly in SUSE 10.0

I am trying to get the middle scroll down button to work and also how can I make the 1 button click highlight feature to work. I like that feature when I would copy/paste URL's out of firefox to an e-mail.

TIA,

Ausm

Ok this isn't a solution, but it will guide you to right direction.

The howto is for logitech mx700 / mx510 , but since those litte creatures look almost the same, you could test the guide, or atleast you'll get some information about what to edit and how...
