How do I install a kernel

Hey guys, sorry to post this again, but, how do I install a new kernel in SuSE 10.2? I want Kernel 2.6.22.1. I don't really understand the readme.

Almost every distribution has its own way(and tools) to do this.
That doesn't mean you can't still do it the same way on any GNU/Linux system though.

The SuSE admin manual mentioned in the closed post is also available on the first installation disk. Look in the docu/ directory.
