I have just installed a fresh install of Suse 10.1, I have read that the previous problems with the package manager are now fixed and be sorted by downloading the updates, I have tried to download the updates to fix it but it wont let me as the update manager seems not to be working, can anyone give me a basic guide of what I need to do to sort this out and get the new updates so the new system will work?

Hello, thanks for the link, I tried out this fix but I cant seem to get it to work, first I did the register your system thing which seemed to take several hours (im on dial-up) to add a source, it eventually did but then when I went to look in yast updates there was nothing there, then i looked in sources and there was nothing there too, so next I tried to add the source manually like it says on the suse link on that page, it let me do this but when i clicked to accept this source and close the box it just sat there and wouldnt add it, can someone help me please?
