How do i change my Graphical Desktop environtment?

Hi!

I use SuSE 9.2 and i was just wondering how i could change my Graphical Desktop Environment from KDE to Gnome.

Im a big n00b, but afaik you have to log out and when you then want to login you can select with what interface (or so, you must have gnome installed though of course)

what init mode are you starting in? do you boot to init:runlevel:5 to login with KDM?
if so... selecting the xsession type is quite the simple matter... in the kdm, next to where it says login there is a button that says 'Session Type' this will list all of the avalible window managers installed on you computer and you can select whicheverone you would like to boot into.
