how do I access current/unstable packages?

hey,

how do I access current/unstable packages? I just want to get the latest versions of wine, blender, cinelerra, the gimp, and maybe krita.

by the way, I just installed suse for the first time about two weeks ago. It is so awesome. Its clearly the best binary distribution.

You need to add the suplementary repositories to your YAST sources. Here is a link to a mirror with the repos you need. There is a sticky thread in the Suse forum that shows how to configure YAST sources.

You can download the source from those softwares' official site.
Or you can use CVS.

By the way, If you want to state your comment about SUSE, there is a place for reviews on this site.

You can install apt4suse and synaptic and use them to update/upgrade your system.
