I know this is probably a stupid question since everybody seems to know how to do this -- except me, that is. But then, I found no explanation either... Here is my problem then:
I got the newest OpenSuSE DVD from a magazine. There is no md5sum to check if it is whole but right in the uppermost directory is a bunch of GPG signatures (or keys?). I presume they can be used to check the DVDs integrity but I have no idea how to do that. There are keys in some subdirectories too. Could anybody here please point me in the right direction or post a link where I can read how to proceed checking that DVD? Thanks awfully.
<edit>I asked something similar earlier here:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...e-them-717416/. Obviously I didn't understand it then (and I also had no DVD then to try). That's changed after getting an actual DVD and re-reading. My apologies
Vit77, I'll try the suggestions over the weekend. @everybody: thank you for reading.</edit>
