Help_im new_install new programms


hi everybody

i have little prob to install new programms, which i downloaded from internet!

in which folder i have to download ?

in which directory i have to change to install programs ?

an so an ...

thanks for help

also search this site for more specific problems. this is a very basic question that google and lq searches can easily help you with.

you can download programs to wherever you want to though... doesn't matter.
