help about KDE 4 and compiz

hi guys, a few days ago, i use KDE 4 just to give it a try, and its pretty nice, although i still prefer KDE 3. the problem is that, when i was trying to play with compiz stuff to get an interesting desktop behavior...suddenly the screen goes blank, and it's running normal, but you can't see the desktop item at all.
is there anyway to restore my KDE 4 desktop?

Did you already solve the problem ?
Did have a GUI left ?
If you still have a GUI left and not solved the problem yet it might be worth to uninstall KDE 4 totally and reinstall it.
Yast>software management>search>pattern KDE4 to uninstall and afterwards to install it again.
